Hello, I am Matthew Curran. I am a video editor, recording engineer, audio drama producer, screenwriter, and liaison of many different creatives. I started my media career at the University of Houston with a B.A. in Media Production in December 2017. Much of my past work is in documentary and promotional content for groups such as non-profit organizations from 2017 to 2019. I created videos with fellow editors for a nonprofit organization promoting people on the autistic spectrum for special events. We also created a documentary highlighting the 50th anniversary of Houston Early Music in 2019.
I made a biographical film about Kyle Fu and his life as an origami master called Foldtastic. I currently work in media production as an engineer for Afrovibes TV here in Houston beginning from 2021 to the present day.
I am also the producer and director of an audio drama called Project Gnosis, an ongoing podcast about cyberpunk societies and international mythologies. I have expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. I have knowledge of the use of a different assortment of cameras such as Sony or even Blackmagic as well as lighting and sound equipment. You can also contact me on social media as well as these sites for any editing or production jobs needed.
