Hello, I am Matthew Curran. I am a video editor, recording engineer, an audio drama producer, screenwriter, and a liaison of many different creatives. I started my media career in University of Houston having a B.A. in Media Production graduating on December 2017. I am a mixed Filipino-American in ethnicity, I have a background in media production and video editing. Much of my past work is in documentary and promotional content for groups such as non-profit organizations from 2017 to 2019. I created along with fellow editor videos for a nonprofit organization promoting people on the autistic spectrum for special events. We also created a documentary highlighting the 50th anniversary for Houston Early Music on 2019.
I made a biographical film about Kyle Fu as his life as an origami master called Foldtastic. I currently work in media production as an engineer for Afrovibes TV here in Houston beginning from 2021 to present day.
I am also the producer and director of an audio drama called Project Gnosis which is an ongoing podcast about cyberpunk societies and international mythologies. I have expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. I have knowledge of the use of different assortment of cameras such as Sony or even Blackmagic as well as lighting and sound equipment.
